RS700 Sailing Dinghy
The RS700 sailing dinghy is a single-handed racing dinghy, built by RS Sailing. One of the faster skiffs available, the RS700 comes complete with an asymmetric spinnaker, trapeze and mainsail. The width of the RS700 wings are adjustable, meaning that the RS700 can be sailed by different sized sailors. The RS700 sailing dinghy is a popular class with an active international class association.
A British design, the RS700 was designed by Nick Peters and Alex Southon in 2001. The RS700 is constructed of epoxy (GRP foam sandwich), with a carbon composite mast, boom and bowsprit. Both the RS700 daggerboard and lifting rudder are made of GRP, with a foam composite construction. The Rs700 has a PY number of 850.

For sailors by sailors. Whilst we appreciate fast cars, supercharged engines and break neck speeds, it’s harnessing the sheer awesomeness of what nature has to throw at us that we love best.
Dinghy sailing is a skill, a lifestyle and an identity. It’s something special, that few get to experience, love and cherish. From screaming reaches, great memories and company, to escapism, adventures and mishaps, sailing is something special, it’s unique and it’s what we live for.
We recognise that the wants and needs of dinghy sailors differ from other water sports. Thats why we’ve dedicated this website to you! And furthermore, as our way of giving back to the sport we love, it’s also free to use.
